The Summer Suzuki Music School begins on Sunday, August 18, 2024 in the afternoon and ends on Sunday, August 25, 2024 in the morning after breakfast.

When and at what time can we arrive at the hotel?
Registration and check-in at Hotel Medlov will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 16:00 to 18:00.
What should we do when we arrive at the hotel?
Upon arrival at the hotel, please REGISTER FIRST at the Summer Suzuki Music School desk, which will be located next to the main reception. After that, we will send you to the hotel reception, where you will check in and receive your room keys.
An individual schedule, program, sheet music, and all essential information for the week will be prepared in the rooms for those staying at the hotel. For everyone with their own accommodation, these materials will be available for pickup during registration from 16:00 to 18:00.

Is it possible to check in online at the hotel in advance?
Yes, we recommend completing the online check-in to speed up the process at the reception. Tomorrow, each of you will receive a reservation code that will allow you to access the online check-in.
We are not staying at the hotel; when should we arrive and what should we do?
Parents with students who have arranged accommodation outside Hotel Medlov, please also come to REGISTER at Hotel Medlov, which will take place on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 16:00 to 18:00.
Is there any program planned for Sunday after our arrival?
Yes, after registration and check-in at the hotel reception, the OPENING of the Summer Suzuki Music School 2024 will take place at 18:10 on the meadow by the pond below Hotel Medlov. We will provide important organizational information, introduce the program, and get to know the instructors.

How will I know when and where our class is and which group my child belongs to?
The schedule for both individual and group lessons and accompanying activities for the entire week will be included in the booklet you will receive. If you are staying at the hotel, you will find it directly in your rooms. For those with their own accommodation, these materials will be available for pickup during registration. This schedule will also be sent to you electronically on the day of registration. An orientation map will be included to help you find your instructor. Our signs will be placed around the hotel, and we are available to assist if you have any questions.
Is there an option to have more lessons than those included in the weekly plan?
Yes, this year, alongside our program, there will be training for new Suzuki teachers at level 1, covering pieces from Pre-Twinkle to Book 1. There are four instructors who will be with us all week and who will also be visiting various lessons. To help them gain more experience and practice, we offer additional free lessons with these instructors.
If you are interested in supplementary lessons for your children, this is a great opportunity. You can arrange the lessons directly with these instructors on-site according to your individual schedule.

How will we be informed of any changes in the program?
The best and most reliable method we will use is the WhatsApp application. Everyone who registered automatically consented to being added to this group. If you would like to add more members, please let us know promptly so they can be part of the group from the beginning and receive all the latest information.
I am a parent interested in learning violin or cello. Can I sign up for lessons?
This year, the following violin instructors will be available for you: Adélka, Ivanka, Jirka, Petra, Lenka, Anička (irregularly), and Martina (backup). For cello, Zuzka, Dineke, and for flute, Markéta.

The fee for a 25-minute individual lesson is 250 CZK.
For a more extensive 40-minute individual lesson, the fee is 400 CZK.
We know that some of you have already expressed interest, so we now ask you to register through the form - this will confirm your interest, and the instructors will have an overview of the needed capacities.
Registration does not guarantee your lesson; it primarily serves to determine the number of interested parties. After assessing interest, we will assign you according to the availability of instructors. Then, you will be connected with an instructor who has a free slot, and you will arrange the specific time for the lesson according to your availability.

When and where is the final concert planned?
This year, we are preparing for two scenarios due to weather conditions. If the forecast for Friday and Saturday is promising, the concert will take place on the beach/meadow by the pond below Hotel Medlov. If showers are predicted, the concert will be moved to the great hall of the hotel.
This year, the exact timing of the final concert will be determined at the last moment. It is up to you whether you pack for the concert as if it will be held outside or inside.

Is it possible to have a meal at the hotel outside of the half-board?
Meals are provided in the hotel restaurant or outdoors (depending on the weather). The exact times will be detailed in your schedule. If you need to buy a meal, we recommend doing so in advance at the reception. It will be more economical and easier for the hotel to anticipate the number of meals.
